Hi Frogman, welcome to the forum :)

I see some black phantoms and peppered corys there - lovely fish!

Welcome!

Nice tank - unusual how you have a mix of gravel and sand - I like it :)

Firebelly girrl 04-21-2007 02:16 PM

Hiii =) nice tank, hows the gravel and sand work? I acutally though about doing that before, is there a reason you did it? or just to add a different nice look to the tank? =)

frogman6 04-21-2007 09:17 PM

yeh i like it better than just gravel and during the summer im goin to add some black sand maybe and take some of the gravel out also my corys love it

Firebelly girrl 04-22-2007 02:53 AM

Really, I love black sand with fish, really makes them seem beautiful, but I like more of the natural look and stick with brown substrates and green plants and driftwood and stuff so ive never gotton black but ive seen tanks with it but I always go back to the natural look =X!
And yeah I can not imagine the corys even going on the gravel side with the sand in there on the other side! =)

frogman6 04-22-2007 09:30 AM

yeh pretty much they stay on the sand
