so we got the lights on the tank and all is looking real good .. turned them on this morning and looking at everything and can never stop being amazed by the new things i keep seeing every day..
for example on one of my live ricks i have this patch of cobweb looking stuff.. its very clear and at a few different points there are tubes in the middle of the section.. it looks very much like one of my sponges but is very light (clear) and i wonder if this is in fact what it is??? i can not seem to get a clear pic but will have the better half mess with the camera tonight and see what we can post.. but based on this description what are your thoughts or ideas???? can sponges just kind of pop up and spread the closest one is about 6 inches or so away.....
it never ceases to amaze me on the differnt sponges i see...just a week ago igot a new sarcophyton and had to remove a large palythoa colony out to make room.. and below the rock that had been sitting there for a few years waas a huge amount of strang sponges ...green blue yellow ...fleshy, encrusting,branching,...and i found it strnge that several were just differnt formations of sponges i had alresdy seen but not in that particular enviroment...salt rules...i hope you can ID it....keep us reefers posted..ADIOS...
