Those are gorgeous looking fish.
Any idea how many fry there are? That's quite the brood.

I have a problem. The parents are fighting alot and seems that the female won the fight and the male is hiding and always get beaten out of the female so i have to remove the male before he will get killed.

I was going to put him in a 26 litre tank. The tank has a new filter but i can fill the whole tank with the same water of where the parents are. Is this ok or I will have cycling problems?

I had to remove male because he was going to get killed. Now I shall introduce him a week after I remove the fry. Do you think that this will be ok?

bigrift 09-28-2010 03:44 PM

yeah after you remove the fry a week should be plenty of time to put the male back. just make sure hes got a place to hide for a bit.
