Ok can't show a pic but what snail is this....? Gold?
....that hitched a ride on my live plants?

He's seemingly growing bigger by the day, and moves really fast to me!
He's light pinkish bodywise, and shell is pinkish/tan/with pretty gold spray paint type effect.
Almost 1/2 inch long now.

The other ones who stowed away are tiny & black, and another is a bit bigger than tiny
and dark brown.

Sorry I can't take a pic to do it justice...Thanks for your help!

I dont think so...He seems to be focused on traveling the glass & gravel, and the tiki head all the brown algae on the tiki head is gone! :-)

Kitten ~ Maybe they are all helpers? Yay! :) I think they are..they came in on the plants from the pet shop, I'd hope they don't put plant eaters in their tanks!

Pond snail-

Colors may vary, not life-size.

"pest snails" are helpful. "marketable" snails like mystery and apple are the real pests- they love to eat plants.
Pest snails like ramshorn, mts, and pond don't eat healthy plants, and are usually the hitchhikers.

Gold Mystery Snail

They can get quite large

Thanks for the pics!

Yes I'm 99% sure the largest one is a ramshorn, I saw him devouring a fish food flake in no time flat,
it was really cool!

The rest are definitely pond snails. :-)

I see the danios nipping the plants sometimes too.
