New time forum user, long time fish lover
Hey my name is Jono. And I've only had a fish tank for about a year. I have a 55 gallon fish tank with around 40 fish or so occupying it. I am looking to add some more fish to it in the coming months. Although my tank is just about full, it just doesn't have the amount of moving around of the fish as I want.
So I had a question, I was looking at getting some killifish, and was wondering if a leopard Ctenopoma or angelfish, or any type of gourami, pose a probable threat to them, as I know they are rather small when purchased?
Welcome to the forum.
Can you list the fish you do have currently? That is an awful lot of fish for the size thank that you have.

welcome to the forum... try using the aqadvisor.com....and the profiles shown on this site..I'm not clairvoyant but I believe I see more tanks in your future!!
I was curious so based on your fish list, I keyed it into AQadvisor. This is a pretty good "general" guide of what type of fish and how many you should stock in a tank of any size.
Your tank is very very very much overstocked.
Any plans on setting up a larger tank in the future? What does you water test for ammonia, nitrites, nitrAtes, ph?

hello and welcome. :)
Hmmm I didn't know my fish tank was that overstocked. I do plan on setting another one up, I just don't the funding at the current time. As well as I'm going off to college in a less than a year and it doesn't make a ton of sense to spend more money on a whole new aquarium set up.
