Hi, new to the forum, not so new to the fishes

I have joined up in the hope of getting some help with a problem I have at the moment with my lovely Pearl Gourami :-( - have posted that in the health forum.

I have been keeping tropical fish for about 5 years, starting with a very small corner tank my mum rescued out a skip, moving on to a Juwel Rekord 60l, whiich i had to sell a couple of months ago when I moved in with my BF as it didn't really fit in his flat. I replaced it with a Biorb life 45l which I know is controversial choice of tank but so far I haven't had any problems with it but have kept it fairly lowly stocked so time will tell.

Prior to the current run of tanks I had a huge Juwel tank as a teenager which I loved but sadly that also got sold when we moved house.
