Platies Chasing Each Other
So, I have 4 male platies. I added two in yesterday. They're all similar in size, but Red is biggest, Orange is next, then comes Mickey and Sunny, the new ones. (I don't have names for them)
The problem is that Red chases everyone and Orange chases Mickey and Sunny some of the time. My main concern is for Sunny who sits in the corner all day and only comes up to eat, which is when Red is the most aggressive. Luckily, the food spreads out.
None of the fish have any fin damage.
Here is a pic of the tank:

Any advice on how to make them stop chasing each other???
Are there usally problems with keepong all male livebearers?

I've found that rather common with some platy males,
The ones being picked on usually ends up dying from stress given time if not removed,
Sometimes It's just easier to remove and replace the bully.

I had a similiar problem with male platies my last aquarium and wound up taking the bully back to the store. It bothered me that the one who was being chased kept hiding in the back or clamping his fins down. Once the bully was gone, he was able to relax and be himself again. Now I have only females and there is no trouble at all.

The only problem was that I used to have Red, Orange, and a Red and Black one. The Red and Black was the biggest and bullied the other two. At that time, Red didin't bully anyone. I took the Red and Black back to the store and then Red started bullying the other one... I wonder if the platies will always bully each other

It's not only the males bulling other males,
I've had platy males pick one female out of the entire tank full and keep all the rest chased off and not allowed out from cover, I set and watched it for awhile because this was the first time I had seen this., If one so much as showed itself he run it until it was totally hidden,.. Had alot of platies in that tank too, but all you ever saw was him and his female,..
I ended up removing him and like magic everyone slowly started to come out of hiding and the tank was very active after that, Occasional I run into other males with similar problems.. It's one reason I have thought about getting rid of my platies,,,, I'm constantly noticing males (usually younger one) spending all their time hiding or slinking to one corner, That immediately tells me hes being bullied and unless I remove him, given a few weeks he usually dies.,

Well the sunset platy died this mourning though I'm almost 100% sure it wasn't from bullying. This seems to soon to me (it must have been sick) and the mickey is actually doing pretty good and not hiding much at all, despite being chased sometimes. The orange I am not to concerned about because it has been chased since I got it (7/24).
