Will API's AlgaeFix hurt my apple snails?

I've recently gone under a small algae explosion, so I've been adding API's AlgaeFix to my 55 gallon aquarium, but I also have three apple snails. I don't know if they are linked, but it seems ever since I've been adding the AlgaeFix, my snails have become more lethargic, and sometimes they float and I have to spin them around to get the bubbles out of their shells. I was wondering if the AlgaeFix was possible hurting my snails. I read the label, and it says not to use if you have freshwater crustaceans, but I wasn't sure what it would do to mollusks. Can anyone help me out please?

This is why you never should use chemicals to sort out algae issues. They will harm your fish and invertebrates alike. Snails are very sensitive to chemicals.
