awesome looking rock you have there. reef or FOWLR?

fishesfriend 09-05-2010 11:13 AM

It should be reef. It's key largo rock. I forgot that this is more for pics, I have another thread thats been up for awhile. here. Just a little briefing I plan for the stocking list below. It's allways up for critism, thus it is always changing
  • 1 Yellow Watchman goby
  • 2 Banggai cardinals
  • 1 B&W ocellaris clownfish
  • 1 Ocellaris clownfish
  • 2 Neon Gobies
  • 1 BiColor Angelfish ( posably, waiting for cofermation)
  • 3 Blue Flasher Wrasses

i think a flame or coral beauty would make a better angel choice. are the wrasse going to be a 1:2, male:female raito? im curious to see how that works out. pretty heavy stock for a 40 reef IMO but i always under stock. i think you'll enjoy the orange and black clowns, its interesting when they pair.

ok I'll go with coral beauty possably no angel, and yes the wrasses will 1 male 2 females. The corals will mainly be softies.

I messed around with my extra lights today. The tank also cleared abit. Are the pictures super big on the screen?

fishesfriend 09-07-2010 07:49 PM

I fear that the neon gobies will be to small and not find food.
I also would like to change the blue flasher wrasses out. stocking update to come.

fishesfriend 09-07-2010 08:11 PM

I have decided to add ethier the wrasses or Kole tang. NOT BOTH!!!

Ammonia hit .25 ppm last night. Waiting till that hits 0ppm to test nitrites.

Just wondering I had this same tank setup for 2+ months with no diansom bloom ?
