my porcupine snails have carpeted most of the rocks in the tank with small white eggs none seem to have hatched yet even after several weeks any ideas?
Are you talking about Clithon Corona snails? They can lay eggs in freshwater and it's possible some may even hatch but in the wild the streams wash them into brackish water for hatching. It's unlikely you'll be getting any babies. Sorry.
perhaps i could experiment with some they have left eggs on lots of removeable objects its ok if they dont hatch if they ALL did it would be a nightmare
Just wondering how your experiment went. Did you get any snails?
