Has anyone tried using a mirror for a background? Makes the tank look twice as big.

Nice pirate theme, could I suggest a ship wreak and some sharks? :D

daisycutter 04-16-2007 02:06 PM

mirrors are not the best background they seem to drive the fish nuts especily anything territorial

joeshmoe 04-16-2007 02:19 PM

argggg sweet tank

Falina 04-16-2007 02:52 PM

thats a reallly unusual background - i like it

are you going to cover the drainpipe with gravel or leave it as it is?

reverendred 04-16-2007 04:30 PM

thanks for the good words all.

i thought about getting a pirate ship to put in there, but every one that i have seen has been far too expensive.

as for covering the PVC with gravel... no i most likely wont. the Y-shaped one is partially buried in gravel. looks pretty good with out coating them in the gravel
