the sumps been running for 2 days now so the new additions in the tank will be fine although some has shown sign of being fin nipped at purchase time a few days in the tank to heal and they will look like new :-D

cute fish!

kitten_penang 08-27-2010 01:39 PM

yup but i have no idea what their likings are as they are a new strain. hopefully they have kept some traits of the original species

They are not a new strain. They are just a 'deformed' version of a penguin tetra due to inbreeding. You can try and breed your 'New Strain' with a regular Penguin tetra.... they will definitely breed!

They are genetically the same as the penguin tetras.
