My 100 gal Malawi hap/peacock
I'll post a link to the build thread later today. Don't mind the diatoms my neighbors took it upon themselves to feed the fish as well as the cats while we were out of town.
I apologize for the poor quality, the lighting in my dining room where the tank is is awful for pictures because of the glare and I don't have an external flash
Very pretty fish. It may sound weird but I love the look of fish with those fat lips like that. For some reason they always look like they are very deep in thought. You don't have anywhere for your fish to hide, they must all get along really well, huh?
wow hey dint disturb the decor.. lovely =)
That said, I wish I had a cichlid tank. They're quite the beauties.
The fish munch on the plants occasionally but not too often. They're sand sifters more then anything.
The two big rocks on the lower left and lower right are actually false and have hiding spots behind them. One hides a koralia nano as well and the other has two terra cotta pots. Some of them hang out in the plants as well
I have also added a powerhead just below the surface and a 13 watt uv sterilizer in my sump

they are naturally inclined to move things in their tank =)
You've got some sweet looking fish! The tank looks really nice. Great job. :-)
I've found Mbuna are much moreso than haps and peacocks. The haps and peacocks are just more of a handful
