PLEASE HELP ME

PLEASE HELP

I had a 30 gallon freshwater tank with two tiger oscars and two albino oscars. One of the albino oscars grew a lot faster than the other three and then killed two of the other fish. (he would bit there sides untill they didnt have any scales) Recently I bought a 55 gal tank and added 3 other smaller cichlids and the only survivor form the 30 gal tank. The large albino oscar is in the old tank by itself and I wanted to know if i should put im in the larger tank with the smaller fish.

PLEASE HELP

well i dont no anything about oscars but i do know your tank is way too small for 4 oscars

A 55g tank can hold one Oscar and nothing else...and that's only if you provide ample 'overfiltration' and weekly water changes.

Put your Oscar in the 55 by himself...put the others in the 30.

You didn't mention what kind of cichlids the 'smaller' ones were...they might be okay in a 30, or not...depends on the species...

Hello foreverchillin83,

You tanks are way to small, the 55g would be large enough for the Albino alone. What other Cic's have you put in ?

foreverchillin83 04-14-2007 06:30 PM

jack dempsey, green terror and a bumblebee

The JD and the GT need about 50g each as well...

Not sure about the Bumblebee...
