Stressed Blue Gourami
Last week on Tuesday I introduce 2 gourami's (1 blue/1 gold) to my tank. The gold one seems to be doing fine but the blue one has lost its color and seems to be stressed and reclusive. I have noticed some agression from the gold one twards the blue one (they are both females). I also have in the tank 3 tin foil barbs and 6 plants. Yesterday I did a 30% water change because my ammonia, and nitrate levels were above .25. Also my PH is 7.6, and Nitrates are at 15. If anyone has any advice on what I can do, its greatly appreciated.

See picture, please help
Same problem I had... You will probably have to re-home Goldie or the Blue will likely end up dead. One Gourami per tank, I guess unless you have a huge tank or a mated pair. I had multiples in a 60 gallon and ended up with only 1.

Your blue gourami is from what I can see actually an Opaline Gourami, which is some sort of altered cousin of the blue. Generally I've also heard one per tank or a mated pair but I've had abnormal success with 3 females in my 38gal. If the Gold is bullying you may want to remove her as she could bully other fish aswell. Best of luck.

more hiding places will lessen the stress while you find a suitable home foe the aggresor
