Filter for 125g
What brand of wet/dry filtration should I use in my 125g reef tank?

Do not worry about a brand, I built my own, it is easy and costs less. You can either use a small tank or built it out of glass or a synthetic. I will post some picks of mine in the next day or two.
If you do it this way you can design your to whater you want. You can have perfect room for a protein skimmer and UV, and you can even built a refugium into it. That is what i amcgoing to do on my next dank. I a huge wetdray, and built a another section with a refugium in it. That is my dream.

Yes just use a old tank. If you dont have one by at least a 30 gallon long. Nothing smaller.

I have a 55g. But I would like to but some Humus in it. Or at least I wanted to make it a FOWLR.

Make it your sump/refug. I have a 65gallon that is in the works to be my sup while my 30gallon long (sump now) will be the refug. So all together I will have about 200gal system.
