What kind of Plecostomus is this?
This is my Plecostomus and I'm hoping to find out what kind he is. His fins are a beautiful red color (sorry my flash makes it looks dull) He is about 6 inches long. If you know what kind he is, can you tell me aprox how much I can sell him for? I need to make room in my tank in fish I can see during the day (he hides alllllll day) Thanks!
Looks to me like possible L025 Scarlet Cactus Pleco.
Have no idea what someone would be willing to pay for this fish.
collectors would pay a lot.
Looks like a clown pleco to me.
it's a scarlet acanthius L025 grows up to 18 inches
price is 9" L025 - Scarlet Pleco
Very unusual for its bright reddish coloration, the Scarlet Pleco is carnivorous (but not a predator) and fairly aggressive.
It must be fed meaty foods such as chopped mussels, though feeding vegetbles is also required for a balanced diet.
Scarlet Plecostomus measuring 16 inches have been seen.
List price: $115
Have you sold this fish? I live in So California. How big is he?
