Outdoor Pond
 

Hey,

I have an outdoor pond that has mainly goldfish and swamp guppies in it.

Wondering if there is a form of catfish that would thrive in such a cold/dirty environment?
I had suckers, but they decided to jump out.

Also, if someone can help identify a good outdoor filtering system?

I am not sure on the catfish, but how big is your pond?

I have two linked by a waterfall.
The top pond is roughly 2m wide by 1.5m deep

the bottom pond is roughly 2m wide by 1m deep.

The top pond is in direct sunlight 80% of the time, and the bottom pond is under a tree. Maybe that might help in the scheme of things?

after seeing it i think a water change would help alot... :lol:

The only place I have seen Koi- is at the markets and its normally too hot of a day to transport them home....

10 tanks... more like 9 at the moment and one more being set up in a few days..... :roll:

How big is your pond? I have a 10,000g pond that has a pentair filter I would get that if your pond is big enough.

I haven't heard of such a filter, nor can I find anything about them throughout the pet shops I deal with.

Have you anymore information?

i got some little pond filter, i use a net to scoop out the algae. kinda works
