Guarami with Columnaris

I believe my Guarami has cotton mouth disease. That's what it looks like anyway. He is in a 14 gallon QT, with water that came out of my 55 gallon tank. I have been treating him with Melafix and Pimafix for the last 4 days. He seems to be looking a little better, but still has some of that "white stuff" around his mouth. It dosen't look like he is eating also. My question is ...... after the 7 day treatment of Melafix and Pimafix, if he still shows these symptons, should I keep this treatment up, or would you suggest trying something different???? Thank you for your help!!!!!!!

melafix is used for slight fungus attacks. if it doesn't work do a 30 water change use a carbon to get rid of the medication for about a day. then remove carbon and add intrepet fungus away. a single dose one the first day will suffice but keep it the tank for another 7 days before removing 30% of the water and redose if necessary.it will not cloud the water if diluted correctly in warm water unlike maracyn and maracyn plus.
