Caribbean FW fish?

I am just curious, are there any fish collected for the trade from the islands of the Caribbean? Do they have any distinctive groupings like cichlids or tetra groups? Anyone have a biotope tank from here?

I'm not sure of any off-hand, but you could probably peruse http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/profiles/ and see what you find out. I know Byron has some SA biotopes, but I'm not sure about any Caribbean types...

There is freshwater on the islands, so there will be freshwater fish. And as Johnny mentioned, some are listed in our profiles (the origin of each species is given). Livebearers occur on the islands, and Corydoras aeneus I believe on Trinidad--going from memory here.
