white spot medicine and water changes?
 
iv been treating my tank with white spot medicine the medicine says to treat every 48 hours and i have been doing and to remove filter carbon wich i have done i just wundered can i still do a water change even tho im treating my tank???..... :):):)

i started with the medicine 3 days ago;
day 1 treated tank
day 3 treated tanki
and today is day 4

Hello Fryup,

I moved your thread to the tropical fish disease section. You'll probably get more responses that way.

As for water changes, I just read my RidIch+ bottle and it claims that for best results, 25% of the water should be changed before each treatment. I find that most of the meds I have on hand state the same thing after a few doses (25%).

If you don't see that on your directions and you still are hesitant about changing out any of the water, you can always get on the mfr. website and see what they have to say on there.
