Howdy folks. Im going to have to do the unthinkable soon, moving my reef tank from one room to another. Fortunately its only a 29G, I couldnt imagine the job a large tank would be... My question is, Ive got a Green Stay Polyps that has attached to my back wall as well as multiple rocks... If I cut the mat it lays down so I can seperate it, would it continue to grow wherever its attached? Thanks

yes this stuff is pretty easy to grow. infact i know many people who seperate the rock its growing on from their other rocks to prevent it from taking over all their rocks. creating such an island makes it easier to control.
if you have it growing on the glass you can carefully scrape it and move it elsewhere. i personally had mine going in the sandbed just to keep it away from my rocks.
