2 gallon hex betta tank
Hi guys. Heres the used 2 gallon hex soon to be betta tank set up. I set it up Sunday and within a day or so it's cycled. I Everything, but gravel and tank is brand new. The undergravel filter is no longer there though. I put in a new filter in Sunday..
Please forgive me on this, but I only had the room for the 2 gallon. :( I bought a little stand for it yesterday so it's no longer sitting on the floor. The temperatre is now om 79-80 F. I think I'll add my betta today. Here were my levels for last night. So far, thers only a Java moss. ^^:
wouldnt you wait for it to cycle a bit?
Well That was the levels showed as of last night.. I assumed it was done.. There were some Nitrates.
I have that same tank at my parents house, nothing's been in it for years though. Always gave me problems with calcium deposits.
What calcium deposits. You mean those white things??
Yeah, my water is extremely hard.
Well I added the betta a couple of days ago along with a Java moss a day before that. His name is Miyavi. i'll post pictures of him later..
clever girl.you know how much we like pics lol
Hehe Okay . Here are some pictures. I'm not the greatest photographer obivously.. I took these today of Miyavi. He made some bubbles today. I don't know if that means he's happy or if he's ready to breed. He is always craving for attention which kind of annoys me for some reason, even though it's cute.
thanks for giving me eye food lol
