wonder how long my 104 gallon will take to grow to this stage

As long as you have adaquete lighting and fertilizer, I'd say not as long as you think ;-)

The Red Tiger Lotus is pretty darn impressive. I ordered one with my very first plant order in January. It melted and I haven't seen it since. Shucks.

kitten_penang 07-26-2010 09:58 AM

is it rare or something? the tiger lotus i mean.

LisaC144 07-26-2010 10:48 AM

No it isn't rare. However, they don't ship well and my leaves melted. It probably would have grown back, but I believe I disturbed the gravel around it when I vacuumed. Might have even sucked up the roots. I've come a long way since then and I now know much more about plants. Perhaps I'll try it again with my next plant order ;-)

kitten_penang 07-26-2010 10:55 AM

where do you order from? may i have the link to it??

LisaC144 07-26-2010 10:57 AM

www.aquariumplants.com might ship outside of the U.S., but I'm not sure. Ask your uncle where he got his. They'll probably still carry it in stock.

he's in Singapore =) still need international shipping even from there.
