what type of fish is this? http://www.hoax-slayer.com/images/fish-with-hands1.jpg fish/amphibian ? |
i think its a type of salamander not a fish. saw one once, dont recall what it was called though |
it is a salamander (axolotl) http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl...h+Images&gbv=2 |
cool  wonder if its possible to keep these guys with fresh water fish edit:guess not these guys prefer colder water >< |
It's a very unusual looking creature, I like it :) |
yes its an axolotl, i wouldnt keep it with any fish that will bite his gills because he will just sit there and let them do it and eventually kill him, they are commonly kept with guppys because guppys usually stay up the top and the axolotl down the bottom, he will eat one or 2 evey now and then tho |
ha ha, my brothers fiance has one and she called it Dil (short for dildo) cos it looked like a penis....... |
They will also eat small fish. |
a guy on another forum i go to has one. his is named AX. |
guppies are perfect to keep with that guy...live bearers like guppies quickly over populate a well maintaned tank because they breed so fast...now you have something to keep the population in check! I kept a small catfish with the mollies i had long ago just to keep their numbers down. just dont get attached to any of the guppies though :P |
