hahaha I woke him up from a sun bath to take his picture that day. That's his red ball that's ALWAYS by his side. He's like a puppy with their favorite toy. He carries it around with him. That's why it is frayed and all beat up. He loves it though.

Wait! What? No names, ages, history???? C'Mon folks, these are your babies after all. :)

Here are mine.
This is my boy Carsten, he is a 2 year old Rottweiler. He is a registered Therapy dog and frequents hospitals, Nursing homes and children's centers. He is a wonderful boy.

This is My sweet Honey boy Oliver. He is 5 and is a rescue. When I got him, he had a broken leg and broken jaw. He was only 4.5-5 months old and the people had kicked him around then allowed the jaw and leg to set wrong. He still has issues but has an amazing temperament. He is one of my many many rescues over the last 33 years of owning Rottweilers.

Oliver loved his kitty Madeline. Sadly, she passed away from Cancer a few months back. Oliver has been scoping out new friends to bring home. The fish are appeasing him for now.

Now all you have to do is train him to use a napkin when he is finished. :-P He is very handsome. I understand that the Spitz breeds are quite intelligent but can be a little independent in nature?

Thanks Kitty. Carsten is a quality show dog. His father is the only Rottweiler ever to win Group at Westiminster. He also holds the record for most BIS and BISS wins. His Mother is also a BIS Ch. Honestly though, that means a lot less to me then his wonderful temperament and gentle nature. All of my Rottweiler's have been wonderful family companions and great Therapy dogs from the best bred ones to the rescues. Oliver is also a Therapy dog but he is not active at this time because of his sore leg. He has some arthritis because of the early injuries and I just don't want him to have to work so hard. He loves people of all shapes and sizes, especially kids.

my spitz can ride the elavator back home alone.he follows me down and goes on to do his business then hurries back to me if he wants to go home or he goes to visit friends in the neighbor hood and returns home later by himself. independent definitely
