12 gallon ideas

I have had my tank for about 3 months and I am already bored of it. It currently holds

- 4 Female Bettas
- 2 Peppered Corydoras
- 6 Tetras

I did have 5 females and 3 corys but 1 of each died. Im not sure if this is overcrowded (it probably is) but my water prams are normal and always have been even when the tank held over 14 fish.

I want my tank to look colourful instead of drab, the 3 plants that I have don't do anything either.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks :)

Yeah it's a litle overstocked.

You can have at least 1 female betta,a school of pygmy cories and maybe a school of neon tetras.

Did you Quaranitine all of them first?

No, I never quarantined any of my fish or plants and not one of them has died. The reason I haven't quarantined is simply because I don't understand how to do it lol .

If I were to get rid of all the fish I have and keep just 1 female betta what other different fish would you reccommend? Preferably nothing that eats plants :)
