This act of aggression will not stand!
My ropefish killed my dwarf gourami. I separated the ropefish and tomorrow he goes somewhere else.... grrr
(Oh and for thosse that dont get it The Dude in The Big Lebowski quoted George Bush Sr "this act..." about Saddam on Kuwait.)
What did you expect from the ropefish?:) Didn't sources always say they can eat small fish? Removal from community is the only way that will work.:)
Yes, blue is right, rope fish can be quite aggressive hunters. Once the light goes out, anything in the tank will be vulnerable to its attacks. The size of the rope fish won't make much difference, they will attack and attempt to eat whatever they can catch. I lost 2 perfect blue rams when my ex tossed a rope fish into my community tank. The ropefish ate them both within 48 hrs, before I had the chance to remove it.
Rope fish are not community fish!
he is gone
