How can I tell if my LYRETAIL MOLLIE is about to give birth!?
 

Hey I was wondering how I can tell if my Lyretail Mollie is about to give birth what should I be looking for?

Her shape should start to square up. She will most likely stop eating. Watch carefully cause she may go after food only to spit it back out. She'll probably start hiding out near the heater. And she may become a little aggressive. Some fish have a little white tubule looking thing stick out shortly before hand. Unfortunately, fish don't always do what we expect. I have a platy that spits her fry out where-ever and when ever and barely looks pregnant when she does it. She eats even in the middle of birthing and still schools with her sisters. Good luck!
