crayfish comp ?
Ok im setting up a 10 gallon for feeder food for my puffers when I get them. Plan on breeding snails and possible crayfish. Im thinking of tossing in some fish and was thinking some Celebes Rainbow would be a nice addition. But Im not so sure the crayfish wont eat them.
If they will what do you think would be an ok fish with the crayfish
I had a tank with crayfish in it and they tend to kill slow moving fish that are smaller. Im not sure about the celebes as Ive never had any. Also Ive learned when crayfish get big and start breeding they tend to kill their young. Infact they tend to kill each other while molting. Just some food for the thought. As far as feeder food for your puffer, Id just breed snails and ghost shrimp. I had a figuire 8 puffer and he loved shrimp and snails.
