could this be Columnaris?? please help! 6 Attachment(s) If columnaris is what this is, I want to treat fast. It's so hard to get a good picture of it because she is still so active, but it just appeared today. It's a white bubble type thing in her mouth. She's eating just fine and swimming completely normal. I'm so worried. Please help. She's the red wag in the pics.. |
well the white bubble in her mouth appears to have popped. I see no signs of an open wound/infection. I guess I'll just watch it.... |
paitience is the key to success! |
The best thing to do is to keep an eye on little white marks to see if they grow/get worse. Keeping up with water changes and making sure the water is pristine is sometimes the best treatment. Sometimes I think of these little white skin marks that come and go to be almost like "fish acne". Or even little bumps/bruises from bumping into objects in the tank like sharp rocks or wood. Looks like you may have a few decorations/rocks that could injure a fish if they are getting chased or are scared and bang into it. Don't think it's columnaris. |
Awesome, thanks guys. I just get a little paranoid! Love these little guys! :)) |
