Normal for some babies to grow faster??
So my first batch of platies are growing like weeds, but there's this one who has outgrown them ALL!! I'm not just talkin a little bit, he's 1.5x to 2x bigger than his siblings. Is this normal?? He, just calling him a he for now, is huge, pics don't do justice, but I'll try. So what do you all think??
Oh in this pic you can see him and one of his siblings above him....
from what iv seen with my sword fry then its the females that grow bigger faster ...i know its females because they have little gravid spots developing :):):)......nice pics tho :):):)
Its probably only normal that with any multiple birth creature you will have your prime, normal and runts. Plus also the defects which this might be but very unlikely. Maybe this fry is more active then the others and/or eats more or even maybe its maturity rate is faster then the others, that is the beautiful part of mutations.
