crayfish

do crayfish just eat dead fish or will they thrive on food on the bottom or just dead plants or what?

Crayfish are somewhat aggressive. Fortunately most fish are faster than the crayfish, but those that live on the bottom will be hassled by the crayfish. They will cut down plants if you have them in the tank. As for what they eat, basically everything.

ok so i dont need to really feed it anything special i cab just let it eat fish food off the bottom?

Most likely, nothing special, though you might want to check on the inidividual. Blue Lobsters for example will eat the left over food.
