What kind of crab is this??
sorry if this is the wrong section to put this question, but i couldn't find a place for this....
so my friend gave me 2 little crabs, I have NO IDEA how to set up a tank for them. I don't even know what type of crabs they are; if they need water? what food to give them? I really have no clue.. HELP PLEASE!!
Hopefully i get reply SOON, i don't want them to DIEEE!!!
found this for you.
wonder if it helps.
I already saw that post. Not really helpful. also tried google to see how to care for those kinds of crabs but couldn't find much ...:-(
from looking at their legs i would think that they are water only crabs. So I would lean towards making a land/water tank, if they seem to spend all thier time in the water then convert it to all water. I would go to my LFS and ask them if they know anything about taking care of crabs, I would think that for the most part they wouldnt be to different
even if they are aquatic crabs - like the Red Claw, you still may want room for them to climb up on land.
The Red Claw, although aquatic, does like to have some time when it's out of the water.
