Slipknot Bassist Paul Gray Found Dead

Now this is really unfortunate...
Just after Dio too..

Paul Gray was found dead at a hotel in Iowa by an employee at 10:50 (CDT) this morning.
Apparently there is no suspicion of foul play but the police are still investigating.

My condolences go out to his family, friends, and the band.

R.I.P.

I was never really a fan of Slipknot but nonetheless it's always a tragedy when a musician dies. Especially rough when it's someone with such a large fan base.

It's also pretty tragic because apparently his wife has a baby on the way. R.I.P.

+1

I'm not a slipknot fan by any stretch of the imagination but its still sad. I know plenty of people that love slipknot and I'm sure this is really hard for them.

I've never been a HUGE fan, I like a lot of their older stuff, but they're not one of my favorites.

It's kind of eerie knowing I saw him live about a year ago, and now he's gone.

Very tragic. That's gotta be rough. That poor wife. :-(
