I believe my betta loves me. He gets so excited when I walk into the room! I refuse to believe he's just using me for food!! :P

I know that my fish, my dog, and my two cats see giant food coming at them when they see me. But I love them anyway. :P

I'm pretty sure my fish love me. I mean I take care of them just like I'm their dad.feeding, tank cleaning, spending money on, loving , taking care of when sick, the things parents do I do.

I think your fish loves you! But all fish have their personalities.

Well, if we want to get all technical and scientifical about it....'Love' is a complex human emotion. Its been proven bettas are intelligent, can recognize their owners and owners voices, feel stress and pain, but we need to remember, most animals don't think and process things like we its not that they 'don't love you' or 'don't care', its just that they literally can't love.
...If that makes sense :P lol, I fail at explaining things.

So bettas learn to associate you with food, and therefore get excited when they see you in the hopes of getting something to eat.....because the little buggers are bottomless pits :P
