Clown loach problem!
I recently had an ick infestation in my tank and is slowly dieing off or is waiting to strike again. My loaches were the only thing that was affected by it. Looking at my 6 loaches I noticed one of them is ghostly looking. He has a near white complection compaired to the other loaches his size. Does anyone know what would be causing this? I saw him yesterday and he seemed to be colored ok.
Does anyone know what might be causing this discoloration in one and not the other 5 clowns.
Thanks for any help!
My clown loach is now looking better with his full color. If anyone knows what could have caused it I would love to know! Thanks! :)
You might want to send a PM to Lupin or aunt kymmie with a link to this thread, but if I remember correctly it's fairly normal for losers of inter-loach arguments to lose a lot of color like that.
Hmm, they do seem to argue alot. I have 3 loaches of 2 sizes. Of my 3 big loaches its one of the 2 healthiest that seems to be pale. I saw one of my little ones get something similar but nothing as bad. Once again tonight he's looking pale. Yesterday he was fully colored.
One other thing I noticed was that my loach that had the worst case of ick was acting very weird. He would swim as fast as he could back and forth and then he started chasing his tail at that speed... When I saw him spinning you couldnt even tell what he was. Looking at that loach now it looks like he could be getting another case of ick :( he's got about 6 spots on him again.
