10 gallon to 30 gallon conversion
ok so as some of you guys know i have a small 10gallon tank with a small clown. Since i have a 30 gal tank, i would like to put all that in there and add a bit more. I would set it up with 25 more lbs of marcos dry rock, and sand. My question is i have a 65 watt saltwater light over it right now and i was wondering if i added my 75 watt metal halide clamp on, would that be enough light? also my skimmer is rated up to 40 gallons, and its pretty nice, is that enough? it seems to get a lot of skimmate. ;-)

So i have been looking into a 20 gallon cube acrylic pre drilled and it seems like what i will most likely chose. i will add a 10 gallon sump so i can hide the equiptment and have more volume. would my 75 watt be enough for a 20 gallon? i will add a DIY light for the sump.

That 75 watt is a Metal Halide. That is definitely enough light for a twenty gallon (I assume long? 30"?). I would compliment this lighting with a 24 watt actinic to really bring out the blue in the tank.
