API Quick start
I read if you use this your tank is cycled an instantly you can add fish . Is this true.
API Quick Start does not contain live nitrifying bacteria. Most of the products available don't. Dr Tim's One and Only as well as Tetra Safe Start (you can even get this at Wal-Mart) do but you still have to go through the motions of a fish-in cycle (watching ammonia, and nitrites as the cycle progresses and doing water changes accordingly) or do a fishless cycle when using those two products.
I am confused now it says on the bottle for API quick start that it containes nitrifying bacteria . so do I still have to add stress zyme . What else do I need to add ?
Thanks so much for your input .
Condition your water, add 4ppm of pure ammonia and add the TSS.
