Tennessee storms / floods
Yes I know I have not been around much lately but its been lil crazy here thanks to us all getting flooded. Thou us personally where very lucky as it "only" wiped out about 1 acre in the yard torn it all to shreds and I was quite upset about all my flowers & work just being down the drain BUT at least we're all safe and so is my house.... Our Rd however is another story what used to be 2 Exits before is now a 1 way street....pictures below and yes this culvert is as big as it looks (~ 3.5-4ft dia) and it tossed it like a tooth pic
Wherever you all live, if you see donation calls for Nashville flood victims please help as you can Nashville lost EVERYTHING they need baby supplies, cloth, personal hygiene, pet foods anything & everything - Its is awful there so if you can help or at least spare the time for a prayer for these families please do so!
Nashville isn't the only place that lost everything. This is my town in West Tn.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBr297-5Vk
Sorry!Try this onehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBr297p-5Vk
I'm glad you guys are Okay! (:
I don't live in Tennessee but I live a state or two below you.
I know bones and I didn't mean to disrespect anyone in other town...shoot man we're 2hrs outside of Nashville and got hammered HARD. I sure hope you & your family / houses are all OK?
No disrespect taken at all.I only wanted to show I know how its been.Half the state has been underwater and most people don't know it.We get pushed to the side by the oil spill in the gulf which is no doubt a huge environmental disaster but a lot of people in Tn have lost everything and a little coverage may get alot of help.
My family and I were lucky enough to not be hit but many friends were and from what I'm hearing the Red Cross hasn't been much help.
110% agreed bones, pretty poor that how many millions can loose their home and its getting like a 2 liner story on the bottom of cnn?! I donno where you live but here its all coordinated with the red cross and there's tons places set up in town (provided you can get to town) by the good neighborhood group, Semi Truck loaded with stuff infront each Walmart here, Good Samaritans etc etc
I pray your friends will get the help they need and hopefully the insurance will help with the house!!!
