You're off to a great start! I really like your rock work. How do you have them fastened together? I can hardly wait to watch this tank evolve over time. And how nice that you are keeping us so up to date with pics! Those crab pics came out so clear and I LOVE the llittle starfish. What type of star it that? It's so little and cute. :-)

onefish2fish 05-06-2010 02:58 AM

i really enjoy the rock work as well, you did a good job on it. the fish will be able to swim throughout it and at the same time it provides a nice flat surface for coral placement.

the star is an asterina.

bearwithfish 05-06-2010 08:01 AM

the rock work is held together by gravity LOL no ties no glue just very careful placement...... thank you all for your comments and encouragement.....
still not feeling the whole idea of fish as of yet......
although i have gone against better advice and began to research one special fish i like and methods of breeding the food required for it.... but again IF i decide to get a fish or two it will not be for a long time to come... i think... right now i am working on learning how to make the tank thrive and researching feeding methods for the corral and inverts i intend to stock.... no i dont have a list yet as i am looking at all options carefully...
