Bristlenose Pleco not eating?
I have an albino (longfin?) bristlenose pleco that just seems way too skinny. I've had him for about a month, and it seems like he is getting smaller, not larger. (But that could be me comparing him to the common pleco, who is growing very very fast) Water params are all good (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph) All of the other fish in the aquarium are happy and healthy. The other pleco is getting larger and chubbier by the day.

I've tried feeding algae wafers, cucumber, green beans, and zucchini. Never seen him eat. The common pleco is always all over it, but the bristlenose kinda hangs out under his rock.

Here is a photo of him, taken this morning. Does he look WAY too skinny to you? What would you all suggest trying?

My understanding is that plecos shouldn't go into tanks together (generally) because of aggression. Any chance that there is bullying going on? How big is the tank you have them in?

I would consider quarantining the ABN and seeing if he eats on his own.

Edit: if you have both of them in a 30g, that's not good... common plecos get very large and need to go into a tank that is at least 55 gallons. I would rehome him.

Yes, they are both in a 30. Its temporary for the common pleco. I am saving up fora 75 gallon for the common pleco, should be another couple months. They are both young, about 3-4 inches each, so I don't think that the size is an issue yet... And no, there isn't any bullying going on.
