Need Advise On New Salt Water Tank
 

Actually I am familiar with planted fresh water tank.I am maintaining from last 2 years successfully. Now trying to start with another small 10 gallon slat water tank.I am really very new to it and very confuse about it. I have lots of question, Sorry I will ask lot things.
First of all

1. what all things I will need beside it.
2. Should I do Cycling without putting salt into water or I have to do with salt into water
3. how salt should in my 10 gallon water
4. what gravel I should use

I need lots of advice and I am very dumb for salt water tank. I want to put coral reef,live stones and fish. help me please.

start with Pasfer's article on salt water filtration in the member submitted articles section.... after that come back and get clarity on any questions.. he is very thorough and that article answers most of your intro questions.... i am fairly new my self and Pasfer, Wake49, and a few others had been indispensable to the health of my tank

10 gallons is very small and very challenging in the nature of marine tanks, especially reefs. What are your ultimate stocking plans?
