Noisy Fluval Canister
 

Very new to this so excse my ignorance. Fuval caister filter for recently set up 300ltr tank has only spout and a small one at that so pressure is high causing a lot of water noise.
Is it possible to get a spray bar type of end to distribute the water making less voilent type of sound or alternatively a larger spout to reduce pressure while maintaining volume.

Hiya Bazil, welcome. I cannot answer the question, sorry: I have Rena filstars and they have two kinds of return bars: a jet and a 'spray' bar.
You might try googling fluval and see what comes up.
I also think creating your own thread would work best as well.
Search the forum as well for fluval too.

Do you have the return above the water line? That would be pretty noisy. If you lower the output below the water line it should make it virtually silent.
