Nice whered you buy your substrate?
I got it at Big Al's Online...
Here's one more pic... Had to do this one larger, as I really like the pic.....
I'd love for my tank to look like this. Very nice mix of color.
One question. With such a dense "forest" do you vac your gravel/substrate very often? How do you deal with poo and dead leaves/plants on the floor of your tank?
Actually, I don't deal with it. lol. I just vac what little I can get up front, and use my hand to try and get some of the dead leaves, etc. Other than that, I don't do anything, and I don't gravel vac. Just hover the vac above the substrate, getting up any unsightly stuff, and then I'm done.
Thanks for the pm as well, LWB.:)
I'm enthralled by your penguin tetras.
i love those rams.... got very nice gold bellies, mine have very very light gold bellies, i hope they grow to be as nice as yours :)
Not only is the subject beautiful, the pictures are very good quality. Well done!
Oh, just remember, the better the water quality, the better the coloring. Also, if you keep the temp around 81, it will bring out even more color. And good quality food, as well as vegies like peas, french-cut green beans, zucchini, etc. And frozen bloodworms a couple times a week.
