here is a LR question
ok so last night i got my base and live rock (see WOOOHOOO thread) any how its full of life... i have some worms, feather dusters and way more i can not identify yet.... my question is do i need to feed this colony at this point? and if so what????
you could feed the feather dusters but it would be a lot of money. They eat plankton which takes a long time (6 months) to establish in a tank. if you do choose to feed it it will be about 10 bucks a week. i would recomend seeing if it will survive or not rather than pouring money into a couple feather dusters. the worms should be able to find all they need in your tank no problem.
ok thanks i really appreciate that.... in case you have not read my other posts i am a TOTAL noob when it comes to salt and i am learning.. thank you again...
haha no problem, it's fun to learn new things about topics you actually enjoy. Thats one of the reasons i like aquariums so much
