albino bristlenose pleco eggs
i have a bit of concern cause my plecos finally laid a clutch of eggs for the first time and the male was taking care of them but they came loose from the under the rock and was laying loose in the tank so i sucked them up with a turkey baster and put them in a hanging breeder net. My question is will they still hatch or are they going to be a sad lose? i put the net in front of the discharge of the filter so it would circulate fresh water thru the net.Its the first time i have ever had them to lay eggs and i really want them to survive if possible.Any info would be helpful...
thanks a bunch..
i got my answer today as i just checked them and they are hatching now.I can see there tails wiggling and 8 are out of the shell and fluttering around the net with the egg sack still attached..
after they absorb the egg sack i will get some micro worms and baby brim shrimp as well as some zucchini for them to munch on...
SOOO EXCITING!!! yay, good luck with them : )
Lucky guy. If possible post some pics cause I never see those before.
Congrats! That's awesome. I'm trying to gt my hand on just 1 albino BN for my tank....you have a whole slew of babies! So cool.
best i can count is there is 27 of them and they are doing very well and developing good i can now see there eyes very well.. i got some frozen brime shrimp cause the lfs didn't have any live ones or any eggs.
How great! Any chance you can post some pics??
