Gonna get me some Terra Cotta Pots. So basically, I'm interested in investing some terra cotta pots for my two bettas. (5 gallon, divided, to be planted). Where can I find this locally? Online is not an option. I would prefer quite small ones too. Now, if I get these pots, what is the proper way to clean them out safely? And I'm aware of having to plug the hole at the base of the pot. Thank you :) |
I would think your local hardware store would have some. Just ask if they would have been treated with a coating. As for cleaning, i cannot answer this one. |
Local hardware store? What kind of hardware store? (Lowes/Home depot)? |
i've seen them at Lowes and Walmart |
The really small ones? Around what price were they? |
Personally, I've found them at the dollar store (99cent store, to be exact) but I'm sure Lowe's or Home Depot; maybe even OSH, has them. |
can't remember one sec, i'll call them :-) Lowes said 4" are like 87 cents, 6" are 1.27 they have some others too. |
Thanks for calling! Lol I'm way too lazy to do that, haha. Oh lovely, that's CHEAP... I'll also call Home Depot...whenevever. It's midnight here, they won't pick up haha. I don't have a nearby dollar store, but I may pass by one occasionally. What is "6''"? Is that the length of the pot, or the diameter of the opening? |
I cant remember where, but I found some small ones, the REALLY tiny ones, that are like 1.5'' tall. it may have been at the dollar store... (Dollar Tree) |
Haha, I'll need one bigger than that. But when I pass by the dollar store, I'll be sure to check it out as well. So, does anybody know how to properly clean it? |
