Yesterday I noticed my male yellow guppy had bright 2 bright on his sides near his back. He's swimming around and eating but I'm still concerned. Its hard to get a picture cuz my camera sucks. Any advice would be great. Thanks. Tested the water after I noticed and levels are good, no ammonia or nitrite, low nitrates ph 7.5
Went to the petstore and saw that all the yellow leopard guppies had the exact same red streaks. I was told they are just juveniles and its nothing to worry about so I feel better. Thanks biokid you were right its just cuz he's a youngling ( he's a pig too always right to the top of the tank at feeding time before everyone else )
mine r a week from being 3 months and they have black on thier tails and the males have a tint of blueish greenish color!!! i swear if its blue im gonna freak out!!! i want a blue guppy but i cant find one
Hahaha I have two lol but mine have yellow as.there main colour on there body and then the black on there tail....I think we should start a new thread with pics of fry ...just fry and the parents Posted via Mobile Device
I just 2 female platys so hopefully I'll get babies! Had to take back a very aggressive guppy and wondering if I should get a couple females.... I have a little 2.5 gallon - would that be big enough for fry???
He was more speckled but still lovely. A leopard I think. Him and my black guppy were given to a friend with an all guppy tank because they harrassed my baby platys waaay too much. So today I got 2 different guppies, one with an orange tail and a very odd but gorgeous yellow tail. Still thinking about baby platys though.
i know it can be hard and my guppys are so fast lol...
