New fish lover and found fry!!
I am new at the fish raising. The pet store guy told me I have 2 guppies and 6 mollies. One of each for the guppies and 3 of each for the mollies. I cycled the tank a week before we brought fish home. Not beacause I knew to just because it sounded good. Anyway, all my female fish are hanging around in corners on the bottom and this morning I found 6 fry!! My questions are these: 1. How do I care for the fry so they dont get eatin? 2. How many fish is to many fish for a 30 gallon tank? I have my eye on some live plants... any suggestions? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. I need all the help I can get. Ihave no clue what I am doing. Also, I have been changing the water once a week. About 6 gallons at a time. Is that good? HELP!!!:-D
Welcome to the forum! If you haven't already, I suggest asking your questions in the fish-related parts of the forum so that they'll get more attention than here in the Meet the Community section. As for the plants, I suggest having a read over Byron's stickies in the Aquarium Plants section as those provide a lot of info about keeping a "low tech" planted tank.
hello and welcome.
i hope you will be very happy here, and get all the information you need.
